For many years Casaro passed his leisure time visiting the wide landscapes of America’s west on horseback, always with sketchbook, camera, paintbrush and palet as to make studies for his series GOING WEST.

Since 1985 his educational trips take him regularly to Africa on Hemingway’s trail. Immediately he succumbed to the fascination of the African wildlife and he begun to bring his experiences on canvas. Paintings - bearing witness of the Black Continent, breathtaking and true as the sources from whence they originated - AFRICAN IMPRESSIONS.
